ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1948 United States Navy VF-71 jacket patch. The patch is blue twill bordered in olive drab thread and shows a cartoon cat gambling in a top hat.

VINTAGE: Circa 1948.

SIZE: Approximately 4-5/8" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Twill embroidered in silk/cotton threads with mesh backing.

ATTACHMENT: N/A.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Navy collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAIEX11 LFJJX5/11

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The patch shows some light wear, mostly on the reverse.
