This is a circa 1950s or 1960s Japanese-made VF-92 (Fighter Squadron 92) jacket patch. The Fighting 92 was also known as the Silver Kings". The patch shows a serpent coiled about a king chess piece.
VINTAGE:Circa 1950s-1960s.
SIZE:About 4-7/8" in width by 6-1/4" in height.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Cotton/poly/silk embroidery thread on cotton twill.
ATTACHMENT:To be sewn onto garment.
MARKINGS:None.
