This is a circa 1946-1947 wing for the Scandinavian Airlines System (SAS). The wing shows a shield with three flags, one each from Denmark, Norway and Sweden, and an arial-style lettering which helps to date the wing. SAS is now known as Scandinavian Airlines.
VINTAGE:Circa 1946-1947.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/16" height and 3-1/16" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal T pin with sleeved "C" catch.
MARKINGS:C. C. SPORRONG & CO. STOCKHOLM.

CONDITION:7- (Very Fine-): Badge shows light wear and tarnish; enamel is missing in a few areas.
