Circa 1945-1950 Boy Scouts of America (BSA) Silver Beaver Award Type SB3 with Box & Instructions

This is a type SB3 Boy Scouts of America Silver Beaver distinguished service award with its original presentation box and instruction booklet. The cunning mammal hangs at the end of a lovely aqua blue and white striped ribbon.

Circa 1945-1950.

Award: approximately 3/4" height and 1-3/8" width and 7/8" thickness; ribbon: approximately 31" length by 1-3/8" width; box: approximately 5" length and 3" width and 1-1/8" thickness; booklet: 3-7/8" in height and 2-5/16" in width (folded).

Sterling silver with brass hanger, silk ribbon, coated cardboard box with velvet lining, printed glossy booklet.

Medal has suspension loop and silk ribbon; box is "hinged" on one end.
