ARTIFACT:
This is a pair of British World War II Royal Air Force pilot gloves. The size is 8 _ and the gloves are dated 1943.
VINTAGE:
Circa 1943.
SIZE:
Approximately 13" by 7 _".
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Leather, thread, elastic.
ATTACHMENT:
None.
MARKINGS:
The gloves both have a square with the markings: Y S O (or C), 1943, and 8 _, and the right glove has one more marking Ð please refer to images below.
ITEM NOTES:

CONDITION:
7+ (Very Fine+) The gloves are in a generally good condition, but the seam has gone up along the little finger-side wrist on the right hand Ð please refer to the images below. This could possibly be repaired, but I have decided to leave that up to my discerning customer.
