Circa 1939 Kellogg's Cereal Premium Howie Wing Cadet Wing Badge

This is a circa 1939 Howie Wing wing badge distributed by Kellogg's. Howie Wing was a children's radio show written by a World War I flying reservist that debuted in 193The success of the show was propagated by the multitude of gimmicks and prizes that grew up around the show, one of which was the cadet wing that was available to anyone with a few Kellogg's Cornflakes box tops.

Circa 1939.

Approximately 9/16" in height and 2" in width.

Nickel-plated brass, painted areas.
