ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1939-1940 British Overseas Airways Corporation pilot wing. The very tapered wing has a crest at its center bearing the letters BOA and is supporting a lion at top.

VINTAGE: Circa 1939-1940.

SIZE: Approximately 15/16" in height and 2-1/2" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-plated brass.

ATTACHMENT: Two loops and cotter pin.

MARKINGS: N/A.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a foreign airline collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. ebay07/28/19 VEJX98 LGIEX12/10

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The wing has light to medium wear and tarnishing and pin is slightly bent but still serviceable.
