ARTIFACT:

This is a circa 1936 "lucky penny" from the famous Stork Club in New York City. The penny is a wheat penny encased within a outer ring of aluminum that reads SONNY KENDIS AND HIS ORCHESTRA DINNER-SUPPER-DANCING GUS MARTEL AND.HIS RHUMBA ORCHESTRA.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1936.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-1/4" in diameter.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Aluminum, copper.
