Description
This is a circa 1935 advertising/recruiting brochure for the Curtiss-Wright Technical Institute of Aeronautics School. The school was started in 1929 and was headquartered at the Glendale, California Grand Central Air Terminal (the school was later named the Cal-Aero Technical Institute). The booklet begins with a foreword by World War I combat pilot and president of the school, Major C. C. Moseley, who also ran Glendale's airport. The cover of the booklet shows a foil logo with the school's motto, Alis Et Animo (With Speed and Courage).

SIZE:38 pages with black and white photographs; approximately 9-3/4" in height and 7-5/8" in width and 3/8" in thickness.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Paper, textured construction paper cover with foil logo.
