ARTIFACT:

This is a circa 1920s uniform button for the United States National Park Service, which was established in 191The button shows an eagle at center and reads NATIONAL PARK SERVICE DEPT. OF THE INTERIOR. The reverse is maker-marked.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1920s.

SIZE:

Approximately 7/8" in diameter.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Copper-plated brass.

ATTACHMENT:

Button loop.

MARKINGS:

WATERBURY CO'S CONN.
