This is a circa 1917 United States Army badge from Portland, Oregon. The badge shows an eagle beneath a winged shield and reads OVER THE TOP.

Circa 1917 (World War I).

About 1-1/16" in width by 1-3/16" in height.

Gilt brass with red, white and blue enamel.

Horizontal pin with a tongue-style "C" catch.
