This is a circa 1914-1917 Imperial Russian lawyer badge. Russia underwent a great judicial reform in 1864 under Alexander II, and the 50th anniversary of this event is commemorated upon the badge. The badge is in bronze to denote a lower level professional.
VINTAGE:Circa 1914-1917.
SIZE:Approximately 2-1/16" in height and 1-1/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Bronze.
ATTACHMENT:Single screw post with disc backing, washer.
MARKINGS:None.
