ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1910s United States Forest Service Department of Agriculture Forest Guard badge. The badge has a great pine tree engraved between the letters US and FS.

VINTAGE: Circa 1910s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-5/8" height and 1-3/8" width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass with painted areas.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: MEYER & WENTHE CHICAGO.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a federal agency badge collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAJJX10 LCGEX1/11 SCGEX12/12

CONDITION: 7- (Very Fine-): The badge has some areas of light to medium wear and tarnish and most of the painted areas have worn away.
