ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1910 postcard of the Elks' House, in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The Elks' House, formerly the Jenness Mansion (circa 1818), now houses a famous auction house. The postcard has been written upon and has a period stamp and a 1911 postmark from Hillsboro, New Hampshire.

VINTAGE: Circa 1910.

SIZE: Approximately 5-3/8" in width and 3-3/8" in height.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Card stock.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: The Hugh C. Leighton Co., Manufacturers, Portland, ME U.S.A. L-782.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a postcard collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. LABX10/12

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The postcard has been used and shows only some light wear.
