This is a circa 1900 Union Liquid Metal Polish can from Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The can has a red, white and blue label listing usage directions and other Union specialties. When the can is shaken, hardened remnants rattle about inside.
VINTAGE:Circa 1900.
SIZE:Approximately 4-1/2" in height and 2-7/16" in diameter (at base).
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Aluminum with printed paper label.
ATTACHMENT:Screw-on cap.
MARKINGS:MANUFACTURED BY THE UNION MANUFACTURING CO. UNION WHARF PORTSMOUTH, NEW HAMPSHIRE, U.S.A.

CONDITION:6- (Fine): The can is heavily rusted but the label is entirely intact, if faded.
