This is a circa 1900 Marin County, California Deputy Livestock Inspector badge by Patrick & Company of San Francisco. The badge is a six-pointed star and reads DEPUTY MARIN COUNTY LIVE STOCK INSPECTOR.
VINTAGE:Circa 1900.
SIZE:About 2-3/16" in height and 2-1/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Nickel-plated brass with black paint.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical safety pin.
MARKINGS:PATRICK & CO. S.
