This is an early police emergency information marker. The cover swivels to show clear celluloid holding papers on which emergency contact information could be recorded.
VINTAGE:Circa 1900 -1910.
SIZE:Approximately 4" in height x 2-7/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Nickel-plated brass, celluloid, paper.
ATTACHMENT:Holes on reverse to mount to a wall.

CONDITION:7 (Very Fine): Piece has heavy tarnishing and papers are slightly faded and torn at edge.
