This is a Remington over and under Derringer Type 1 .41 caliber pistol from the 1870s. The top of the barrel is engraved with two lines: the upper one with the Remington company information and the lower with the Elliot patent date marking of December 186.
VINTAGE:Circa 1870s.
SIZE:Barrel measures approximately 3"; 4-7/8'' overall length.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Nickeled steel, blued steel screws, walnut, brass.
