This is a circa 1870s or 1880s Civil War veterans' lapel stud. It is in the shape of a cannon, and was cast in white metal.
VINTAGE:Circa 1870s-1880s.
SIZE:Approximately 1/2" in height and 3/4" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Cast white metal.
ATTACHMENT:Lapel stud.
MARKINGS:None.

CONDITION:7 (Very Fine): The stud has light to medium wear.
