Description
Circa 1920's-30's Dragon or Dolphin bar pin for the Beta Omicron Sigma Kappa Fraternity of Hamline University in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Founded in 1901, it is now known as the Beta Kappa Chapter of Theta Chi, which absorbed the original fraternity in 194Beta Kappa Fraternity closed its doors and enlisted when the United States entered World War I. The Beta Kappa's served as an ambulance service in the US Army, getting soldiers from the front lines to much needed medical attention.
VINTAGE:Circa 1910s-1920s.
SIZE:5/8" height and 2" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.
