This is a 1905 Phi Beta Kappa key that was made into a pin. It is dated and named on the back, however the addition of the pin has covered some of the inscription (see image below).
VINTAGE:Circa 1905.
SIZE:About 9/16" in width by 1-1/2" in height.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with a "come-under" locking catch.
