ARTIFACT: This is a 1905 Phi Beta Kappa key that was made into a pin. It is dated and named on the back, however the addition of the pin has covered some of the inscription (see image below).

VINTAGE: Circa 1905.

SIZE: About 9/16" in width by 1-1/2" in height.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with a "come-under" locking catch.

MARKINGS: DEC(covered by pin)1776 PS CALIFORNIA E.H(covered by pin)05.
