This is a Great Krean War circa 1951 USN VF-781 Peacemakers Jacket Patch as worm as part of CVG-102 on the USS Bon Homme Richard.
The USS Bonhomme Richard (CV-31) was reactivated for the Korean War and served two combat tours, launching strikes against North Korean targets like the Sui-ho Dam and cities such as Pyongyang. The carrier was part of Task Force 77 and conducted air operations, close air support, and naval support for United Nations forces. After the war, she underwent conversion for high-performance jet operations and earned three Navy Unit Citations.

SIZE:Approximately: 4-7/8" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully embroidered patch in multi-colored silk/cotton threads.
