ARTIFACT: Circa 1944 beautiful, iconic United States Army Air Forces Command Pilot Wing in sterling silver by Josten - a winged US Shield topped with a five-point star encircled by a wreath and the reverse shows a maker mark that reads: "JOSTEN STERLING".

VINTAGE: Circa 1944

SIZE: Approximately 3" x 1-1/4"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Lacquered sterling silver

ATTACHMENT: Two posts with clutchbacks

MARKINGS: "JOSTEN STERLING"

ITEM NOTES: This is from a USAAF collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAJJX16 LDEJX12/16

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine - Excellent): The wing shows minor to moderate wear, some of the lacquered details remain intact, overall excellent condition.
