ARTIFACT:

This is a rare circa 1940-1941 United States Air Corps Command pilot shirt-size wing by Amico. The wing is in sterling silver and is hallmarked with Amico's first-type "eagle" mark.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1940-1941 (World War II).

SIZE:

Approximately 13/16" in height by 2" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Sterling silver.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal pin with come-under swivel locking catch.

MARKINGS:

Amico first-type "eagle" maker mark, STERLING.

ITEM NOTES:

This is from a United States Army Air Forces collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. PEJL13 LCEJX5/13

CONDITION:

8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The wing has some small areas of light wear and tarnish, mostly on reverse.
