WWII USAAF Pilot Shirt-Size Wing in Sterling by Balfour (No Hallmark)

This is a circa World War II United States Army Air Forces pilot wing in a shirt-size by Balfour. The wing does not have a maker mark but is marked STERLING on reverse.

Circa World War II.

About 2" in width by 1/2" in height.

Sterling silver.

Horizontal pin with a come-under locking catch.

STERLING (very worn).
