Description
This is a circa 1940s automobile badge for the County Commissioner of Hampden County, Massachusetts, in the western part of the state. As of 1998, Hampden County no longer uses any county-level government. The auto badge is in painted cast aluminum and shows a large raised seal of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The badge has a hole for attachment at bottom.
VINTAGE:Circa 1940s.
SIZE:Approximately 8-3/8" in height and 6-1/8" in width and 1/8" in thickness.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Painted cast aluminum.
