ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1907 colorized postcard showing the United States Life Saving Service (USLSS) in action. The card has a period two cents stamps still affixed and a May 1907 Brooklyn, New York postmark. The postcard is by Raphael Tuck & Sons.

VINTAGE: Circa 1907.

SIZE: Approximately 5-7/16" in width and 3-7/16" in height.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Postcard.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: Raphael Tuck & Sons; postmark; handwritten note on front of card.
