Description
Wonderful circa 1907 pre-Prohibition ACME Beer mini-mug from the Heidelberg Inn in San Francisco, California. The front of the mug shows a person serving up a platter and below them reads: "EAT, DRINK AND BE MERRY" and surrounding reads: "THE HEIDELBERG INN GERMAN RESTAURANT AND CAF" and along the bottom reads: "ALT DEUTSCHE BIERSTUBE, 35 - 37 ELLIS ST., SAN FRANCISCO". The reverse depicts a man at a table, with a beer mug in one hand and a hookah (?) in the other, his dog is under the table beside him and surrounding reads: "ACME BEER! OH! SO GOOD". The bottom shows the initials: "ZZ" and reads: "GERMANY".
