This is a gorgeous United States Marine Corps enlisted man cap badge, and the best one I've either owned or seen! It dates from the Spanish-American War/ Boxer Rebellion era, and is an eagle, globe and anchor with a modified eagle.
VINTAGE:Circa 1898-1900.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/2" height and 1-1/2" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:Single screw post with domed disc backing, no stabilization post.
MARKINGS:None.
