BEING RESEARCHED WWII Aviation? Sterling Pin Came in Wright-Aero Worker Estate NOT FOR SALE til IDed

This is an unidentified sterling silver lapel pin, possibly related to World War II aviation as it came to us from the estate of a former Wright Aero worker. The small pin is cross-shaped and enameled in black and red with a star at the center.

Circa World War II.

Approximately 1/2" in height and 1/2" in width.

Sterling silver, enamel.

Horizontal pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.
