ARTIFACT:

This is a pre-World War I lapel wing in sterling silver for an unidentified aero club in New York. The pin is by Dieges and Clust, and is diamond-shaped in blue and red enameling and a winged H at its center.
VINTAGE:Circa pre-World War I.
SIZE:Approximately 7/16" in height and 13/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Sterling silver, enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with squared-off C catch.
MARKINGS:STERLING DIEGES & CLUST 23 JOHN ST. N.Y.
ITEM NOTES:This is from an accumulation of unidentified items which we will be listing more of over the next few months. Item will not be sold until it is identified. LX7/12
CONDITION:8 (Excellent-): The wing shows little wear.
