ARTIFACT:

This is an unidentified lapel wing in nicely enameled sterling silver. The wing reads ALUS at its center and the letters may stand for the Aero League of the United States.
VINTAGE:Circa 1930s.
SIZE:Approximately 3/8" in height and 1-1/4" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Sterling silver, enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Single screw post with disc backing.
MARKINGS:STERLING on backing.
ITEM NOTES:This is from an accumulation of unidentified items which we will be listing more of over the next few months. Item will not be sold until it is identified. LX7/12
CONDITION:8 (Excellent-): The wing shows little wear.
