ARTIFACT: This is an unidentified lapel wing in sterling silver that reads FPA at the wing's center. FPA could possibly stand for the Federal Pilots' Association. The pin comes on its original card and was made by Metal Arts Company of Rochester, New York.

VINTAGE: Circa 1930s.

SIZE: Wing: approximately 1/4" in height and 1-1/4" in width; card: approximately 1-5/8" by 1-3/8".

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling silver, enamel, printed oaktag.

ATTACHMENT: Screw post with disc backing.

MARKINGS: MACO STER on reverse of pin; THE METAL ARTS CO. INC. ROCHESTER, N.Y. STERLING on card.

ITEM NOTES: The wing you receive will either be the one pictured or one in similar condition. This is from an accumulation of unidentified items which we will be listing more of over the next few months. Item will not be sold until it is identified. LX7/12

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The wing shows some light wear; light wear/minor creasing to card.
