This is an unidentified badge in blue and white enamel reading 309 with a little scroll-like mark after the nine.
VINTAGE:Circa unknown.
SIZE:Approximately 13/16" in height and 2" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated brass with enameled areas.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with "C" catch.
MARKINGS:WHITEHEAD & HOAG CO. NEWARK N.J. with union mark.
ITEM NOTES:This is from an unidentified collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. Item will not be sold until it is identified. RAL88 LX12/10
CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The badge shows only some very slight abrasions to the enamel and some light nicks on its reverse.
