Description
This is an unidentified badge, possibly for a European military unit, such as one from the Netherlands or Slovakia. The badge is a white Knight's cross bordered in crimson bearing the letters LAK and the date 1930. There is a crowned lion raising a sword with a man's arm between each arm of the cross. There is a date and some other information engraved on reverse.
VINTAGE:Circa 1930.
SIZE:1-1/4" height and 1-1/4" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Single screw post and disc backing with two small loops.
MARKINGS:XIVB M.N. EULLIKO (?) SAVONI'NNA (?) 20/6 1935 and maker's marks MAA 813N(?).

CONDITION:6+ (Fine-Very Fine): Badge has some small pieces of enamel missing and it appears that there may have once been a decoration at center.
