Description

ARTIFACT:

This is an unidentified lapel wing that reads either IW or WI against a hexagon at its center. The pin is aviation-related, and the capital I is in red while the W is in a script and asymmetrical.

VINTAGE:

Circa unknown.

SIZE:

Approximately 1/2" in height and 3/4" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Plated brass and enamel.

ATTACHMENT:

Single screw post with disc backing.

MARKINGS:

None.
