This is an unidentified lapel wing with blue enameled lettering reading IAS across a shield. The letters could potentially stand for Institute of Aeronautical Sciences, which was founded in 193The tips of the wings bend slightly back, making the pin a bit concave.
VINTAGE:Circa unknown.
SIZE:Approximately 3/8" in height and 1-3/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS:GREENDUCK CHICAGO.
