BEING RESEARCHED - "IAS" Lapel Wing by Greenduck - NOT FOR SALE UNTIL IDed

This is an unidentified lapel wing with blue enameled lettering reading IAS across a shield. The letters could potentially stand for Institute of Aeronautical Sciences, which was founded in 193The tips of the wings bend slightly back, making the pin a bit concave.

Circa unknown.

Approximately 3/8" in height and 1-3/16" in width.

Gold-plated brass with enamel.

Horizontal pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.
