Description

ARTIFACT:

This is an unidentified lapel wing showing the word AID at its center. The letter A has a propeller jutting out from its side and is tilted to create "wings", suggesting the shape of an airplane.

VINTAGE:

Circa unknown.

SIZE:

Approximately 3/8" in height and 1-1/16" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Plated brass and enamel.

ATTACHMENT:

Single post with disc backing.

MARKINGS:

None.

ITEM NOTES:
