ARTIFACT: This is a large and intriguing unidentified five-pointed star badge in silver and gilt silver. The star is decorated in a raised, unknown script made up of both connected and stand-alone symbols, along with various icons pertaining to knowledge.

VINTAGE: Circa unknown.

SIZE: Approximately 2-3/4" in height and 2-7/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Silver and gilt silver.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with C catch.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an unidentified collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. Item will not be sold until it is identified. VEJX11 LX8/11

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The badge shows some small areas of light wear and has an overall tarnish.
