ARTIFACT: This is an unidentified lapel wing bearing the letters NAF and the United States national aircraft insignia (a red disk within a five-pointed white star on a circular blue field). This wing could possibly be for the Naval Aircraft Factory, Navy Yard, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

VINTAGE: Circa unknown.

SIZE: Approximately 3/8" in height and 1" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-filled with enameled details.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: GOLD FILLED.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an unidentified collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. Item will not be sold until it is identified. VAEX99 LX1/12

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The wing shows light wear and tarnish and has a few very minor spots of oxidation.
