This is a circa 1960s through 1980s captain hat badge for an unidentified foreign airline. The badge is in brown wool embroidered in bullion threads and shows a winged knight's head. Below the knight is a red and white crest bearing a gull. The top of the badge has four stars, denoting a captain rank.

Circa 1960s-1980s.

Approximately 2" in diameter.

Wool felt with bullion and silk/cotton threads, cloth backing.
