Description

ARTIFACT:

This is an unidentified badge made in Austria with a large enameled M on the front. The badge is heavy and has a cannon at the top and a wreath of laurels beneath.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War I - 1930s.

SIZE:

Approximately 2-5/16" in diameter.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Brass, enamel.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal pin with C catch.

MARKINGS:

FORTH WIEN VI.

CONDITION:

7+ (Very Fine+): The badge has a handsome tarnish with a few very small spots of oxidation and all enamel in intact.
