This is an early unidentified bronze badge or belt plate. It shows a griffin's head and reads "Finem Respice" (consider the end). It is most likely of British/Scottish origin.

Circa unknown.

Approximately 3-1/4" in height and 2-5/16" in width and 1/2" in depth.
