BEING RESEARCHED - Early "A" Enameled Lapel Wing - NOT FOR SALE UNTIL IDed

This is an unidentified early aviation lapel wing. At its center is a blue enameled circle bearing a capital A in block lettering.

Circa unknown.

Approximately 1/4" in height and 1" in width.

Plated brass with enameled details.

Single screw post with sleeved disc backing, stabilization post.

None.

This is from an unidentified collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. Item will not be sold until it is identified. LX1/12

7- (Very Fine-): The wing shows moderate wear and tarnish and all enamel is intact.
