BEING RESEARCHED "CFVP" French Auto Badge (Insigne Automobile) NOT FOR SALE UNTIL IDed

This is an unidentified auto badge that is probably French origin. A golden wing at the center of the badge bears what looks to be the letters CFVP in a very Deco style. It may have an affiliation with the Comite Francilien de Vol en Planeur (CFVP), a gliding club.

Circa 1930s.

Approximately 2-3/8" in height and 4-9/16" in width and ½" in thickness.

Plated white metal, gilt painted details.

7+ (Very Fine+): The badge shows some light to medium wear and tarnish and has some traces of oily residue.
