Description
This is an unidentified C.F.D. Fire Lines badge, possibly from Cleveland (Fire Department), the city in which it was found. The badge dates to between 1900 and 1920. It is unclear whether the "CITY COUNCIL" on the badge denoted their approval or distribution of the badge, or that the badge owner was a member of the Council.
VINTAGE:Circa 1900-1920.
SIZE:Approximately 1-5/8" in width and 1-3/4" in height.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical kick pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.
