ARTIFACT: This is an unidentified circa 1950s or 1960s badge, probably for a hat, for L.A.B Transportes Aereos Bolivia Sudamerica. L.A.B. was established in 1925 and is the national airline of Bolivia. The badge has enameled details, including a single star at the bottom, and a double screw-back.

VINTAGE: Circa 1950s-1960s.

SIZE: Approximately 3/4" in height and 1-1/2" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass, enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Two screw posts, flower-shaped disc backings.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an accumulation of unidentified items which we will be listing more of over the next few months. Item will not be sold until it is identified. VABM12 LX8/13

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The badge has some light wear and an overall tarnish, with some spots of oxidation to the reverse only.

GUARANTEE: As with all my artifacts, this piece is guaranteed to be original, as described.
