ARTIFACT: This is an unidentified World War II badge that may possibly be for the Chinese Air Force 5th Fighter Command. The eagle-shaped badge is in enameled silver. On the reverse it is engraved 1943 and has several Chinese characters. The eagle bears a Chinese sun on his breast and a small Roman numeral V near his feet.

VINTAGE: Circa 1943.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Enameled silver.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with a "C" catch.

MARKINGS: 1943 and Chinese characters.

CONDITION: 8- (Excellent-): Very minor wear and tarnishing.
