This is a numbered badge for the US 326th Fighter Group, 1st Air Force, a training unit for P-47 pilots. The badge shows a winged cockatrice on a field of azure and reads 326TH FIGHTER GROUP 1450.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:2-1/16" diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Celluloid-wrapped tin .
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal safety-style pin.
