ARTIFACT: This is an unidentified Chinese medal in gilt and enameled silver. It appears to date from sometime from the 1910s through 1940s, although it is most likely pre-World War II. The medal has fine frond-like details radiating out from the textured blue enamel center, and seems to show an island. The medal is extremely lightweight and is numbered on reverse.
